What can an animated gang of mystery solvers teach us about teamwork, assessment, and patient care? A lot more than you’d think! In this lighthearted yet insightful session, we’ll explore the parallels between the Mystery Inc.crew’s adventures and the world of EMS. From effective communication and critical thinking to scene safety and emotional intelligence, each member of the team brings a lesson worth applying in the field. Through episode-inspired examples and EMS case parallels, we’ll uncover how to “unmask” the true problems our patients face, collaborate under pressure, and deliver care with confidence and compassion — all while keeping a sense of humor.
Prerequisite: Participants must hold an active Virginia Office of EMS (OEMS) certification
