VFRS-T102 Vertical Rescue - High Angle Operations - 3 Day Event
Lead Instructor: Jimmy Rice – Technical Rescue Instructor and Rope Rescue Program Lead with the VAFR.
Second-level rope rescue course covering rappelling, ascending, lowering, hauling systems, and high-angle rigging.
PPE Requirements: Full rope‑rescue PPE: full‑finger leather gloves, ANSI Z89.1 helmet with chin strap, hard‑sole boots, long pants, and short‑ or long‑sleeve shirt.
Prerequisites: Basic & Light Duty Rescue Awareness within the last 5 years; skills pretest.
