VFRS-EMS147 Burn Treatment

Location: The Inn at Virginia Tech-Duck Pond
Date: June 16, 2026 8:00 AM until 12 Noon
Participants will review burn pathophysiology, airway considerations, TBSA estimation, fluid resuscitation strategies, and pediatric burn nuances. Emphasis is placed on the first 24 hours of burn management in coordination with burn centers.
Prerequisites: Age: 18. Active Virginia OEMS certification
