This hybrid course explains what autism is, how it may present in emergency situations, and how to communicate effectively, de-escalate crises, locate missing individuals, and connect families with
follow-up resources. Content is designed for EMS, law enforcement, and fire rescue working collaboratively.
Prerequisites: Age: 16+. Active Virginia OEMS certification.
