VFRS-EMS131 Difficult Airway Management

Location: The Inn at Virginia Tech-Duck Pond
Date: June 16, 2026 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM
Through four intensive skills stations, participants practice cricothyrotomy, RSI preparation and execution, airway decontamination using SALAD techniques, BIAD placement, and pediatric airway management. Pharmacology and clinical decision-making for high-risk airways are emphasized.
Prerequisites: Age: 18+. Active Virginia OEMS certification
